consistent drop in peripheral flow
We have noticed a consistent drop in peripheral flow after the immediately after the uterus is incised leading up to the delivery of the baby followed by an almost doubling of flow after delivery and when the uterus contracts. We presume this is due to the auto-transfusion that occurs with uterine contraction.
